The team behind Bloomfield Estate is delighted to announce that we have reached a landmark moment. After years of planning, the machines have rolled in, and the soil is turning.
Winslow, our civil construction partner, is now on site, and this marks the start of Bloomfield shifting from open paddocks to the early shape of our new neighbourhood. This is the first real sign that Bloomfield is coming to life.
Civil Works Have Begun
Civil works are now underway. Winslow is one of Victoria’s most trusted civil construction partners and has been engaged to deliver the works. Their track record across the state gives Bloomfield a strong and steady foundation. Their arrival is the beginning of the estate’s physical transformation, which begins with:
- Preliminary fencing has been installed, including temporary silt fencing and drain flagging
- Existing drain crossings have been extended to prepare for increased construction traffic
- Stage 1 cut area has been stripped of topsoil and stockpiled
- Stage 3 & 5 sewer rising main and gas corridor areas have been stripped of topsoil and stockpiled
- Geotech inspections have taken place
- The wet well and valve pit have been installed, and 2 of 3 sewer manholes are under construction
- Sewer gravity pipe work has begun
These are the first steps that will bring us closer to streets appearing, landscaping going in, and titles moving toward release.
Now Is A Good Time To Stay Close
With construction underway, momentum will only grow. The site is changing each week, and increased interest will follow.
