It’s exciting to see a community come to life, and at Bloomfield Estate, our new neighbourhood is starting to reveal its form.
Stage 1 construction has been progressing incredibly well. With much of the major groundwork now complete, attention is turning to kerbs, internal services and the important intersection works along Bloomfield Road.
Here’s What’s Been Happening Onsite
A lot has changed since our last construction update, with several key stages of civil construction now complete or nearing completion.
- Road boxing is now 100% complete
- Subgrade stabilisation is 100% complete
- Subbase works are 100% complete
- Drainage pipes and pits are 95% complete
- Sewer works are 95% complete
- Water infrastructure has reached 80%
- Kerb and channel works are well underway and nearing completion
- Works have commenced on the northern sediment pond
With the road foundations now prepared, you can really start to see the internal layout of Bloomfield taking form.
Services Are Moving In
The next phase of works is also underway, with internal power trenching commencing across the estate.
Electrical cabling will follow, along with communications infrastructure, as the team continues progressing the services that will support each future home at Bloomfield.
Bloomfield Road Intersection Works Progress
Preparations are also progressing for the new Bloomfield Road intersection.
Telstra relocation works are now underway, and preparations for relocating existing power infrastructure have also begun.
These works form an important part of delivering the new intersection and future access into the estate.
